We are seeking a bookkeeper to manage daily transactions, reconcile bank statements, communicate effectively with departments regarding reporting needs, and serve as a functional backup to payroll operations. Your meticulous attention to detail and mastery of accounting principles will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial information, ultimately securing the financial future of the Food Bank.

FLSA Classification: Non-exempt; hourly

Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00 per hour plus competitive benefits.

Spanish Bilingual differential: $0.75 per hour (as eligible)

Position Type: Full-time; 40 hours per work week

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8:00a-4:30p with the ability to flex hours to accommodate business needs.

Remote Eligibility: This position is expected to work onsite but may be allowed to work from home, on occasion, with department director’s approval after 90 days.

COMPETENCIES:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of all pre-screening requirements.

LANGUAGE SKILLS & ABILITY: Proficiency in English required, bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with Inventory Management, Project Management systems, Microsoft Navision 2009, and Blackbaud CRM is preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no direct reports but may support the coordination of volunteers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Primarily works in an office located within a warehouse.

TRAVEL: Local travel between the 3 organizational sites is the primary expectation during business hours. Mileage reimbursement is provided for work-related travel.
